Rustproofing Line
An oily corrosion preventive formula specifically designed to offer advanced penetrating properties when used in the treatment of motor vehicles exposed to road deicing salts. P.B.I. Wax Rust Inhibitor is a dispersion of modified calcium sulfonate, oxidized petrolatum and wax and other ingredients. This product provides films, which are somewhat tacky but offer excellent performance as measured by salt spray. USES To be used on frames and undercoat of automobiles, trucks, trailers, buses, off-road vehicles, tractors, farm equipment and recreational vehicles. PHYSICAL PROPERTIES COLOUR: CLEAR OR BLACK % NON-VOLATILE BY WEIGHT: Min. 52 VISCOSITY AT 25 DEGREES C: > 5000 cps BOILING POINT: >150 degrees C DENSITY: 0.91 CORROSION RESISTANCE: more than 2000 hours at 3.0 mils dry film thickness. FLAMMABILITY: Flash point 44° C (PMCC) CLEAN-UP Use P.B.I. Clean Up. SHELF LIFE All rust proofing materials have shelf life as follows: Water-based products:3 months when never frozen AVAILABILITY 20 LTR 60 LTR 205 LTR CAUTION Flammable material. Use with adequate ventilation. Keep away from sparks and open flame. Contains mineral spirits. Prolonged breathing of vapors should be avoided. |
