An economical asphalt base Aluminum Paint composed of selected asphalt and a high volume of aluminum powders. Dries to a bright reflective finish. USES Used as a decorative and reflective finish on metal roofing, flashing, siding, cladding and structural units. May be applied over well cured paints or primers on metal surfaces, provided the substrate is a sound bond. PHYSICAL PROPERTIES COLOUR: BRONZE (Aluminum Finish) SOLIDS BY VOLUME: 30 % approx. WEIGHT PER GALLON: 9 lbs. (approx.) COVERAGE: 300 - 500 sq. ft. per gallon DRYING TIME: (@ 50% R.H. 20 C ) TOUCH DRY: 1 hours (approx) FIRM DRY: 8 - 12 hours (approx) SERVICE TEMPERATURE: Minus 25 degrees C. to 75 degrees C. APPLICATION TEMPERATURE: Over 5 degrees C. preferred FLAMMABILITY: Wet...Flammable Dry...Burns LIMITATIONS Not to be used over asphalt or coal tar materials. Do not use on wood or any absorptive surfaces. Do not use where solvent odours may taint food or other susceptible materials. PREPARATION All metal surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, rust, grease or other contaminants. Surface must be dry. APPLICATION Stir well. Apply by brush, roller or spray. Avoid over-brushing. Application of two coats is recommended. CLEAN-UP Use P.B.I. CLEAN-UP. SHELF LIFE Up to 12 months in sealed container. AVAILABILITY 3.78 LTR. 20 LTR 205 LTR CAUTION Contains flammable solvents. Take suitable fire precautions. Do not allow smoking or welding in working area. Keep away from heat and open flame. Use in well ventilated areas. Keep containers covered when not in use. Avoid prolonged breathing of the vapour and repeated contact with the skin. Harmful if swallowed. |
